When a transfer may help
- Your present rate is meaningfully higher than an eligible alternative
- A large outstanding balance or long remaining tenure can create worthwhile savings
- You want to change the EMI-tenure balance
- You need an eligible top-up for another purpose
- You want better service or loan features
Do not compare rates alone
Include applicable foreclosure or transfer costs, processing fees, legal and technical charges, insurance implications and the cost of any tenure extension. A lower EMI can sometimes mean more total interest if tenure increases substantially.
What we typically review
Your latest loan statement, sanction letter, repayment track, income profile, credit position and relevant property papers. Exact requirements vary by lender and case.
A transfer is beneficial only when the expected saving or structural benefit reasonably exceeds the cost and effort of switching.
